Is Infertility a common problem?


Fertility usually declines with age both in women and in men. Although the effect is observed greater in women and women in their 30's have about half of the fertility that they had in their 20's. The chances of conception are said to significantly decline when they age over 35. Male fertility also shows a decline although more gradually as compared to women.

What does Infertility mean?

Men observe changes in hair growth or sexual functions. Most of the couple are able to conceive eventually be it with or without the treatment.

Most of the couples do visit their doctor in case they are not able to get pregnant after a year of trying. In case you are over the age of 35, it is crucial that you visit your physician in around a period of six months of trying. This is important as fertility testing also takes a lot of time and women in her 30's should take medical assistance sooner.
